Growing up during the golden age of YouTube, I fell in love with everything video. The dream of being a YouTuber shifted into a passion for creating behind the camera, where I found my strengths and focus.

I joined the Iowa Hawkeye Football Video team in the second half of my freshman year and will graduate in December 2026. In my role as Student Video Production within the video department, I’ve developed a dual expertise: understanding the technical and tactical needs of coaches’ video, while also exploring creative storytelling and production. That unique position taught me how to balance precision and purpose with artistic experimentation.

Since high school I’ve been influenced by Lyrical Lemonade and other creative VFX-driven styles. I’ve continually pushed beyond conventional editing—learning and applying tools like Blender and TouchDesigner to create visuals that stand out while remaining grounded in the fundamentals of strong video production: story, pacing, and clarity of intent. My work aims to merge the discipline of sports video with the energy and visual innovation of contemporary creative media, producing pieces that are both functional and memorable.
